Talking about Arco means talking of a place full of history , with its mesolitic and neolitic ages finds and the traces of Romanism ,recovered by excavations ,the medieval age ,the Renaissance with feudal family; D'Arco ,the French Vendome general assaults (1703) ,the age of Kurort under Habsburg empire and the independence wars until to reach Italy Kingdom .
Due to peculiar environment and mild climate of this natural amphitheatre (it is near to Garda lake,one of the best of Italy) ,Arco can be considered as the last Mediterranean niche in Italy just near the mountains .The variety of natural environments are real "vegetal spontaneous occasions,that any cleaver tourist ,looking for unusual views , may admire .
Lots of vegetal species live togheter side by side : palms,oleanders,acacias,olive-trees,brooms,hom-oaks,pomegranates,ash-trees,laurels,hornbeams,then conifers and rhododendrons .
